Upgrade that browser
The latest generation of web apps are doing some pretty cool things, everything from movies on demand to washing your car (well…not yet at least).
Radius performs its magic through some pretty sophisticated JavaScript and a little help from one of the latest browsers makes a big difference. If you’re running something on the older side, try upgrading. We prefer the latest Firefox, but IE 7 works great too.
Happy web surfing!

I’m using Firefox Firefox/2.0.0.8 under Linux as you probably know. When I logged in from Facebook to radius IM I got the popup suggesting I upgrade my browser. Is that popup determined by browser sniffing or is it coming up for every browser?
So far I it’s working perfectly for me and I think it’s cool!

I’m running Firefox 2.0.0.9, the latest version on Firefox - and yet, I’m also getting the same popup that Chris McNally mentions, suggesting that I upgrade. It appears that something is a little out of whack here. I’m also running Windows XP. Won’t move to Vista until it stabilizes a bit more.
Other than that, some pretty cool people I know seem convinced that RadiusIM is pretty cool!
Thanks…
